Free agent LB Preston Brown mentioned during an interview that the Bills have reached out to him about a new deal and he would like to be back in Buffalo for the 2018 season. “The Bills have reached out to my agent and that’s where I want to go,” Brown said. “So that’s always the No. 1 choice but we all know this a business & you never know what will happen but I just love Western NY so hopefully I can go back.” Brown said last week that HC Sean McDermott indicated they’re interested in re-signing him this offseason. “In the exit meeting [after Buffalo’s playoff loss to Jacksonville], coach made it sound like they wanted me back,” Brown told Mike Rodak of ESPN. “He said some things that sounded like that. But you never know what’s going to happen during free agency. I would love to go back to Buffalo. That’s the No. 1 choice for me.” Brown added that he enjoyed playing in McDermott’s 4-3 defensive scheme last year.
