The New York Knicks are expecting to receive a boost upon taking on the crosstown rival Brooklyn Nets on Friday. According to a Thursday afternoon report from Ian Begley of ESPN, the Knicks are anticipating the return of rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina against the Nets. The first-year signal caller has been dealing with a lingering ankle injury and has appeared in just one game for the Knicks thus far into the 2017-18 regular season. “Knicks rookie Frank Ntilikina is expected to play Friday against the Brooklyn Nets after missing the previous two games with a left ankle injury,” writes Begley.
