After stops at Harvard and St. John’s, Max Hooper has found a new home, committing to Oakland according to a report from John Rothstein of CBS Sports. St. John’s announced Hooper’s intention to transfer on March 26. He sat out the 2012-2013 year, and averaged only saw nine minutes of action a night, averaging 3.2 points per game for the Red Storm this past season. Hooper is on pace to graduate this spring, giving him immediate eligibility next season for the Golden Grizzlies.
