Former Red Wings defenseman Brian Rafalski has been elected to the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame, it was announced Wednesday. Rafalski, a Dearborn native, played for the Wings from 2007 through the 2010-11 season before retiring. He also played seven seasons before that with the New Jersey Devils. He helped the Devils win the Stanley Cup in 2000 and 2003, then partnered with defensive legend Nicklas Lidstrom to help the Red Wings hoist the Cup in 2008.
