Former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has hinted at a potential return to the Premier League for Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazilian playmaker made the move to Anfield from Inter Milan under Rodgers in January, 2012.

Coutinho went on to be a great success at Liverpool appearing 201 times for the club before earning himself his dream Barcelona switch six years later.

Even though the 27-year-old has struggled to hit the same heights in Catalonia as he did during his spell on Merseyside, Rodgers thinks Coutinho could come back to England's top flight and prove his world class capabilities.

Speaking to The Beautiful Game Podcast, the Leicester City boss lifted the lid on signing Coutinho and why it is 'sad to see people talk him down'.
