Titus Young is in prison, and he's not getting out any time soon. The former Detroit Lions wide receiver and 2011 second-round draft pick was denied parole Monday in California based on his "history of violent criminality," the Los Angeles Times reported. Young, 28, earned a four-year sentence at the California Rehabilitation Center after he pled guilty last year to assaulting his neighbor. That sentence runs concurrent with another two-year term for a separate assault. The Boise State product who caught 990 yards and 10 touchdowns in a two-year period with the Lions certainly has the history that the parole board pegged him with.
