Former Grizzlies guard O.J. Mayo has agreed to sign with the Dallas Mavericks. Mayo was first to announce his decision via Twitter. After spending his first four NBA seasons in Memphis, Mayo became an unrestricted free agent once the Griz decided not to tender him a $7.3 million qualifying offer. Memphis originally acquired the 6-3 guard from Minnesota in a 2008 draft-day trade for the rights to forward Kevin Love. Mayo talked to Phoenix before agreeing to terms with Dallas.
