Richards and Carter still have a hard time believing how their lives were turned upside down when they were separated last June when the Flyers traded them to different teams on the same afternoon, then again when they were reunited in February. Now, against crazy odds, their Kings, seeded eighth in the Western Conference, are in the Final against the New Jersey Devils, who are home for tonight's Game 1. "I definitely didn't expect it to end up like this ... this soon," Carter said. "It was tough for both of us. Obviously, we loved playing in Philly. We loved our time there. We didn't expect it, but things have worked out pretty good here for us. We're both happy to be in L.A. We love the situation we're in."
