When Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann jumped from Butler to the Buckeyes earlier in June, he left behind the highest-ranked recruiting class in Butler history. The Bulldogs' 2017 recruiting class took a major hit on Monday, as the school's highest-ranked recruit, four-star forward Kyle Young, announced his release from Butler and his commitment to Ohio State. "Through these difficult times, I grew very close with Coach Holtmann and Coach (Ryan) Pedon," Young wrote in a statement he shared on Twitter. "My bond with them and the rest of the current Ohio State staff is one that goes far beyond the basketball court, and my family feels the same way."
