The former Browns linebacker charged with attempted murder last month said he was acting in self defense, according to a court document filed Thursday in New Jersey. The Bergen Record reports that an attorney representing Ausar Walcott claims his client was defending himself when he and a group of friends were surrounded outside a strip club in Passaic, N.J on June 23. The men made threats and punched one of Walcott’s friends, according to the document.
