The Flyers kept some depth in the system on the blue line, signing defenseman Reece Willcox to a two-year, two-way deal on Thursday.

Willcox, who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2012 NHL Draft by the Flyers, just completed his third professional season with the organization. In 57 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season, Willcox scored three goals and had 15 points.

Willcox played for four years at Cornell prior to going pro, and was the team's captain in his senior season in 2015-16.
