The Bruins were going to take a couple of days to discuss whether Justin Florek would head with the team on their three-game West Coast trip to California, and it looks like they liked what they saw. The Bruins rookie was again pulled up on emergency recall on Monday after playing with Daniel Paille and Gregory Campbell on Sunday, and he’ll be making the road trip with the Black and Gold. The 6-foot-4, 199-pound Florek played in place of Jordan Caron in Saturday’s win over the Winnipeg Jets, and showed off the right size, strength and energy combination for Boston’s energy line. He didn’t register any points, but had a key screen on the first of Torey Krug’s two goals and fit right in with Paille and Campbell while throwing a heavy fore-check down during his shifts. He then returned to Providence to play for the P-Bruins on Sunday before getting the call back up to the NHL on Monday.
