The Calgary Flames have signed center Markus Granlund, their second-round pick in the 2011 NHL Draft, to an entry-level contract, the team announced Friday. The three-year deal has an average annual value of $925,000. The native of Oulu, Finland, the 45th player taken two years ago, has played the past three seasons for HIFK Helsinki.
