The Calgary Flames have agreed to terms with forward Jaromir Jagr on a one-year contract. Jagr is just 56 NHL games away from passing Gordie Howe’s all-time record of 1,767. The 45-year-old had 16 goals and 46 points in 82 games last year with the Florida Panthers. His 1,914 points is second-most to Wayne Gretzky (2,857) in NHL history, and the Czech winger is third all time in goals with 765.
