Roman Cervenka apparently won't be back for a second season with the Calgary Flames. In fact, he won't even be skating in the NHL next winter. According to reports from Russia, Cervenka has signed a three-year deal with SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL. Because he is under contract with the Flames until July 5, the move cannot be confirmed. The 27-year-old Czech forward was a two-time KHL all-star before signing with the Flames last spring, but he struggled to adapt to the NHL.
