According to Eric Engels of Sportsnet, there will be no suspension or fine for Flames forward Dillon Dube for his hit on Canadiens forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi. The NHL reviewed the hit and determined that head contact was unavoidable on the play.

Thankfully for the Montreal Canadiens, Kotkaniemi was not injured, and only left for a brief time to get checked out.

The hit occurred just over half-way through the second period in Saturday night's game. Kotkaniemi had the puck behind his net, and was shielding it from Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk.
