The Calgary Flames had the chance to book their spot in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Friday night, but they failed to close things out in a 4-2 loss to the Dallas Stars. Now, it’s a crucial Game 7 back in Alberta on Sunday, with their season on the line.

The Flames, who were one of the top teams in the Western Conference this season, have lost in the first round in their last three appearances in the playoffs. A lot of this roster is hoping to finally get over the hump, including star forward Elias Lindholm. He is feeling extremely confident however that Calgary can get it done on home ice.

It’s hard to win the last one and obviously a lot of us haven’t been past the first round,” Flames forward Elias Lindholm said.
