Four-star forward Joey Baker just verbally committed to Duke, he tells Scout. "I'm trembling," Baker said moments after his pledge. "It's cool." "I just feel like I fit there on the court and off the court," Baker said. "They are a family and I feel like I fit in there. I talked to the coaches and I took a good amount of visits. It's where I want to be and I'm comfortable." Baker, a standout at Fayetteville (N.C.) Trinity Christian School, picked the Blue Devils over strong interest from a host of high major programs, including NC State, Wake Forest, Florida, North Carolina and Kansas. Duke's interest in Baker picked up recently, as the Blue Devils offered Baker a scholarship on September 30th. Baker has since taken multiple unofficial visits to their campus, including a trip to their Countdown to Craziness festivities on October 20th. "I've always been in good touch with them since June and coaches could contact us," Baker said. "I feel like I just knew. I didn't want to waste my time or anyone else's."
