Sunday was a special day for Tony Fields Sr., the father of Cleveland Browns linebacker Tony Fields II, in more ways than one.

Fields had the fortunes of watching his son play live on Sunday, when the Browns visited the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium. As a bonus, Fields also got to see his son’s team cruise to a 27-14 victory which kept their slim playoff hopes alive.

One of the game’s biggest plays that helped Cleveland seal the deal? Fields II recorded a pick-six off Houston quarterback Kyle Allen in the fourth quarter. It also marked the first interception of his young career.

After scoring the touchdown, Fields II went to find his father in the stands so he could throw him the football. Just how bad did Fields Sr. want the ball? So much so that he was willing to put his body on the line. Fortunately, a thrilled Fields Sr. avoided injury, and he proceeded to celebrate hard after getting possession of the football.
