Sens fans were ecstatic to hear star defenceman Erik Karlsson will be back in the lineup for the next season. Karlsson, a lead contender for this year's James Norris Memorial Trophy, signed a seven-year, $45.5-million contract with the Senators. "He's great for the city, his hockey has been awesome and he made the all-star team last year, so he's been very good and he's a great asset for the Senators in the future," said Sens fan Tony Pantieras. At just 22 years old, Karlsson's youth gives fans high hopes for the team's future.
