Falcons WR Roddy White mentioned during an appearance on 680 The Fan’s The Front Row that he and the team were in the process of working on a contract extension that would allow him to finish his career in Atlanta. “We’re working to try to get something done,” White said, via AtlantaFalcons.com. “They want me to be here, I want to be here, so let’s make it happen.” White also mentioned that he’s really enjoyed his time in Atlanta and doesn’t want to be anywhere else. “I do want to stay here for the rest of my career,” White said. “It’s been really good these nine years.” GM Thomas Dimitroff told reporters a few weeks ago that they are interested in locking up White to a long-term contract, so it appears as though something agreement could be in place at some point in the next few weeks.
