The Atlanta Falcons worked out two experienced free agent cornerbacks last week and reached an agreement on Monday to sign on of them. Leon McFadden has officially signed with the Falcons, who have made room on the team’s 53-man roster by waiving running back Terrance Magee. A fifth-year player, McFadden has not suited up in a game this season. But he received an audition in Atlanta last week, joining Leodis McKelvin on that workout trip. And the Falcons went with the younger player in this case. McFadden will now join a fifth team in five years. The Falcons played without top cornerback Desmond Trufant and supporting-caster Brian Poole in their Week 13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.
