Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman played in just two games this past season due to knee and groin injuries, the latter of which resulted in surgery.
But now, Freeman is fully recovered and ready to go, and Falcons head coach Dan Quinn says that Freeman will be ready by training camp, per James Parks of 247 Sports.
“We can’t wait to get Free back,” Quinn said. “He’s having such an awesome offseason. His energy, his juice, like him being around the team, you feel what he brings.”
Freeman, who played his collegiate football at Florida State, was originally selected by Atlanta in the fourth round (103rd pick overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.
