The Seattle Mariners continue to add veteran arms for their rotation. Seattle has signed right-handed pitcher Jon Garland to a minor-league contract with an invitation to major-league camp. The deal is official pending the results of a physical. Garland, 33, has not played at the major-league level since 2011, when he was with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He went 1-5 with a 4.33 earned run average in nine starts before a shoulder injury ended his season.
