AC Milan have installed a former police officer in their latest attempt to reign in Mario Balotelli's captivating persona. The decision comes after the Italian striker snapped at a cameraman whilst on international duty last month. The Rossoneri have decided enough is enough and brought in ex-police chief Filippo Ferri to look after the 23-year-old. Ferri had been working as head of security at Milan for months, and it is yet to be confirmed exactly what responsibilities he will be undertaking. Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, who worked with Balotelli at Inter Milan, told reporters that the appointment can only have a positive effect. He said: "Mario is a great guy. I don't know what Ferri's specific tasks will be, but certainly with a lunatic like him, you never get bored." Balotelli moved back to his native Italy in January following a fascinating spell with Manchester City.
