Everton are at the front of the queue to sign Manchester City defender Tosin Adarabioyo - but the Toffees will face competition for his signature from six other teams in the Premier League and Championship.

Adarabioyo is currently on a season-long loan at Blackburn Rovers, where he's made 27 appearances across all competitions for the club, scoring two goals and picking up an assist to help the club to within touching distance of the playoffs.

The 22-year-old will return to parent club this summer, but Adarabioyo only has a contract with Manchester City until 2021 and without a clear path into the first team, he will be allowed to leave ahead of the new season.

A source has told 90min that Everton are leading the race to sign Adarabioyo this summer, but north-west rivals Burnley are also interested in signing the former England Under-19 international.
