Reports in Italy suggest that the Toffees will offer Torino £10m to try and lure Cerci to Goodison Park next season. While Cerci is not a direct replacement for Lukaku - who remains a target for the Merseyside club - the 26-year-old scored 13 league goals in Serie A last term. Those goals would clearly help soften the blow, if, as expected, Lukaku moves to a club that can offer him Champions League football next term rather than return to Everton. Both United and Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for the Italian international but it now seems as though the Toffees may look to beat them to the punch.
