Everton boss Roberto Martinez claims he has shown other clubs the light about the loan system, after three of his standout performers this season were recruited on a temporary basis. The Merseyside club sit just four points off leaders Arsenal in the Premier League thanks to their star loan signings Romelu Lukaku, Gerard Deulofeu and Gareth Barry. Martinez explained the loan players have not only helped his club but the parent club. Speaking to Everton's official site, the manager said: “Put yourself as a director of football. You spend £20million on a youngster but there is no place for him in your team yet. “Where are you going to send him? You aren’t going to send him somewhere that he is not going to develop or be at a club with a different style. That’s a danger. “And you are not bothered about making the team you are sending him to stronger.
