A sports talk radio host on WEEI in Boston is being blasted online after he appeared to use a racial slur about ESPN personality Mina Kimes.
WEEI Boston sports radio producer Chris Curtis referred to ESPN analyst Mina Kimes as one of his favorite “nips.” Nip is an ethnic slur against Japanese people, referring to a shortened version of Nippon, which is the Japanese name for the country.
ESPN had to release a statement on the matter.
