Both Loui Eriksson and Carl Soderberg skated together on the Ristuccia Arena ice Monday morning prior to Bruins practice in a positive sign that both are progressing well from concussion issues. Eriksson has missed 10 games and more than three weeks of action after getting blown up by a Brooks Orpik hit back on Dec. 7 in a win over the Penguins. He has made slow progress in his second concussion sustained in a short two month span of time. Eriksson started to make some progress last week, and wouldn’t be let back on the ice unless he’d been symptom-free for a considerable period of time. Soderberg was suffering from concussion-like symptoms after a collision with Erik Karlsson in the turnbuckle between the benches left him dazed in the third period of Friday night’s win over the Senators. The Big Swede didn’t make the trip to Ottawa on Saturday night but the fact he’s on the ice just a couple of days later can be considered nothing less than a good sign.
