Danny Trevathan's 2014 season will go down as one of the flukiest, injury-plagued years I can remember. A knee/shin injury in preseason, followed by a separate knee injury early in the season. Eight weeks on Injured Reserve/Designated to Return, then another separate knee injury (dislocated knee cap) that knocked him out for the year. I know they're not technically the same injury, and I'm no doctor, but it was the same leg. The bumps and bruises and dislocations sure seem related to me. Maybe Trevathan was rushed back onto the field too soon. It's a shame; he is one of Denver's best linebackers and leading tackler from a year ago. The Broncos will miss him.
