Since his arrival in 2015, Arizona State’s Bobby Hurley has worked to raise the talent within his men's basketball program. Over the last two years, the coach and his staff have lassoed four-star prospects from places such as Georgia and Rhode Island. On Wednesday, however, the Sun Devils took an impressive next step. Luguentz Dort, a powerful guard from Montreal, committed to ASU over Oregon and Baylor. The 6-foot-4, 210 pound guard also had reported scholarship offers from schools such as Indiana, Michigan State, West Virginia and Florida. "This decision was hard,'' Dort said in a video that aired during a "Midnight Madness" event at the Athlete Institute Basketball Academy in Canada, where he will spend his senior season. "I want to thank all the coaches who recruited and believed in me. I would like to thank God and my family for supporting me. My coaches and teammates for pushing me every day.
