The Texans dropped their seventh straight game Sunday. This did not sit well with Ed Reed, who signed a three-year, $15 million contract this offseason only to miss the first two games with a bum hip. Reed returned to start the next five games but lost his job to Shiloh Keo last week, and he barely saw the field against the Cardinals Sunday. When asked why Houston lost again, Reed said the team was "outplayed and outcoached." Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips is the team's interim head coach after Gary Kubiak collapsed on the field last week.
