Matt Barkley signed a four-year contract with the Eagles Thursday, earning as much as $10 million less than he would have if he had left Southern Cal after his junior season. That leaves first-round pick Lane Johnson, who was taken fourth overall, as the only unsigned Eagles draft pick. Barkley was the first pick of the fourth round in the April draft, going 98th overall. While the Eagles did not disclose terms, it is believed that the contract is for a total of around $2.5 million. As a junior, Barkley was considered a top 10 pick, although he might not have been drafted that high after going through the NFL Combine and personal workouts for teams leading up to the draft. But as a point of reference, Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill was the eighth overall pick in 2012 and he signed for four years and $12.6 million.
