Carlos Hyde signed with the Seattle Seahawks on Friday, but before he inked his new deal, there was another team interested in landing him: the Philadelphia Eagles.
According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Eagles expressed interest in Hyde, but their offer did not entice him.
Philadelphia has been searching for a veteran running back for some insurance behind Miles Sanders. With Hyde now gone, the club’s options are getting thinner and thinner. But a couple of other names that Philly has been linked to are Devonta Freeman and LeSean McCoy, the latter of whom spent the first six seasons of his career with the Eagles from 2009 through 2014.
