An argument over football between a New York fan and a Philadelphia supporter turned deadly outside a famous cheesesteak joint in the City of Brotherly Love on Thursday, a report said.

The two fanatics were in line at Pat’s King of Steaks early Thursday when they got into an argument partly about football, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The beef escalated and turned physical before one of the fans pulled a gun, the report stated.

“They were arguing and it turned into a fight,” Pat’s general manager, Tom Francano, told the newspaper."
