Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Seahawks trade for Texans LT Duane Brown actually drove up the price for other teams looking to acquire a left tackle before the deadline. According to La Canfora, the Eagles had discussions with the Bills about LT Cordy Glenn. However, the cost to acquire Glenn became even more prohibitive following the Brown trade. Buffalo wasn’t openly shopping Glenn last week, but were willing to trade him for the right return. The Bills actually spoke to the Seahawks during the season about Glenn but elected to do the deal for Brown instead. La Canfora says that the Eagles exchanged some ideas with the Bills regarding a Glenn trade, but it soon became clear that there wasn’t a deal to be made and Philadelphia moved on to other options.
