The Raptors coach has been rewarded for the team's remarkable turnaround during the 2013-2014 season. The Toronto Raptors were eliminated from the 2014 NBA playoffs on Sunday following a close Game 7 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, but it didn't take long for the front office to show its appreciation for a team that tied a franchise record with 48 regular season wins. Coach Dwane Casey has reached an agreement in principle for a three-year contract, according to the Toronto Star. Casey helped guide the Raptors' dramatic turnaround following the trade of Rudy Gay on Dec. 9. The team was 6-12 before the trade, but finished 42-22 after it on its way to winning the Atlantic Division and making the playoffs for the first time in six seasons.
