Forward Dustin Brown will have a hearing with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety on Sunday for his kneeing penalty on Tampa Bay defenseman Mikhail Sergachev in their game Sunday. The play happened at the 14:30 mark of the second period and Brown received a five-minute major and a game misconduct. Sergachev left for the remainder of the period but returned in the third. The Kings lost 4-3. Brown had a hearing with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety for cross-checking Penguins defenseman Justin Schultz on Jan. 18 and was fined $10,000.
