Detroit Pistons president Joe Dumars was adamant Tuesday that he never has discussed trading Brandon Knight to Boston for Rajon Rondo, nor has he had any discussions about a sign-and-trade package with Milwaukee for Brandon Jennings. Dumars acknowledged previous reports were accurate that he had discussions with Boston about Rondo. But a Boston Globe report that the Pistons had offered a package including Knight for Rondo was incorrect, Dumars said, adding that the report ultimately would cause him some consternation when he has to assure Knight that it is untrue. Dumars also said he has no talks at all about Jennings, contrary to a report by the Racine (Wis.) Journal Times. "I don't know," Dumars said, with some dismay, when asked how the rumors started.
