Holy Cross senior forward Dave Dudzinski (Elburn, Ill.) has been selected to the 2013-2014 National Association of Basketball Coaches All-District 13 first team. The team is comprised of players from schools in the Ivy League and Patriot League, along with independent institutions. Dudzinski has averaged a team-best 15.4 points, 7.5 rebounds and 0.7 blocked shots per game this year, while hitting 47.4 percent (176 of 371) of his field goal attempts and 75.5 percent (114 of 151) of his free throws. He currently ranks first in the league in rebounding, second in scoring, 10th in blocked shots, 11th in free throw percentage and 14th in field goal percentage. Dudzinski has led the team in scoring 14 times this year and scored in double-figures 26 times. Over the course of his career as a Crusader, he has now totaled 1,345 points, 687 rebounds and 91 blocked shots, while connecting on 48.7 percent (490 of 1,007) of his field goals and 78.3 percent (306 of 391) of his free throws. Dudzinski currently ranks seventh all-time at Holy Cross in career games started (90), eighth in career blocked shots and 18th in career points scored. Holy Cross currently stands 19-13 overall and 12-6 in the Patriot League.
