Well, that was easy. The Tigers blended their suddenly untouchable starting pitching Wednesday with an 18-hit assault that gave them a 9-2 victory over the Braves at Champion Stadium. Drew Smyly continued with his Grapefruit League mastery as he went four innings, allowing two hits, striking out four and walking one. Smyly has not allowed a run in three Grapefruit League games. Tigers starters have not allowed a run in their last seven games, dating to Feb. 23. Danny Worth was 3-for-3 for the Tigers, with two doubles, and two RBIs as the Tigers put on a show in front of 8,395. Nick Castellanos added a two-run double, and Bryan Holaday had two hits, including a double, good for two RBIs. The Tigers are 7-6-1 on the Grapefruit League season and Friday will play the Mets at Joker Marchant Stadium.
