Following the Golden State Warriors’ win over the Cleveland Cavaliers, there was much made about the officiating in the final couple of minutes of the fourth quarter. In response to that, the NBA released the last two-minute report that stated that the referees missed three calls late in the game, including one on Kevin Durant making contact with LeBron James on a drive to the basket in the final 30 seconds of the game. According to Connor Letourneau of SFGate.com, Warriors forward Draymond Green voiced that he believes the final two-minute report is quite pointless for the NBA to release. There was some clear contact on the play in question from Durant on James, but it is part of the game that human error plays a factor. There are certainly calls throughout the course of an NBA game that are not always officiated correctly.
