The Raiders have signed free agent offensive tackle, Donald Penn to a deal, according to various reports and first reported by NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. The veteran offensive tackle became a cap casualty by the Buccaneers last week as the team signed free agent tackle, Anthony Collins. He immediately became the top name in free agency and was being considered by the Raiders and Redskins. The 30-year-old Penn had been the starter at left tackle in Tampa Bay the past seven seasons and he hasn't missed a start since getting the job. That is as durable as you can get and certainly had to be a draw in the Raiders interest in the FA after voiding the deal with Saffold over injury concerns. Hopefully Oakland won't let him leave without a contract in hand.
