Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie was no longer suspended but he came into Sunday’s game knowing he was not going to receive his normal workload. “Yeah, I knew I wasn’t going to play much,’’ Rodgers-Cromartie said after a 24-7 loss to the Seahawks. “Just throw me in here and there, that’s hard to come off the sideline and be focused and be prepared but I knew my role and I was ready for it.’’ Asked why he knew he would have a reduced role, Rodgers-Cromartie said “I just came off a suspension.’’ Ben McAdoo said DRC’s usage had nothing to do with any lingering discipline. “We wanted to use a variety of defensive backs and they all played a significant role in the game,’’ he said. Rodgers-Cromartie was suspended and did not play last week after violating team rules. “When you get old you take it how you want to take it,’’ Rodgers-Cromartie said. “I can’t complain or get mad about when I’m in or out. When my name is called I just got to be ready. I know it’s a long football season and I know one thing about corners, we always get hurt, so I know I’m gonna get a chance to get back in there.’’
