Dom Morris had 16 points and eight rebounds and Boston University kept pace atop the Patriot League standings by holding off Colgate, 76-74, last night in Hamilton, N.Y. The Terriers (18-8, 11-2) remained tied for first place with American, which routed Lehigh, 64-44. BU will host American on Wednesday at Agganis Arena. BU trailed by three points after Colgate (9-15, 3-10) closed out the first half on an 8-0 run. The Terriers opened up the second half with 11 straight points to charge ahead by eight, their largest lead yet, and went on to lead by as many as 12 with 8:26 left to play. The Raiders hit three 3-pointers in the final minutes but couldn’t come all the way back. Both teams shot above 50 percent. Murphy Burnatowski led the Raiders with 27 points. Jon Papale scored 13 points for the Terriers, and Maurice Watson Jr. added 12 with five assists.
