In just a few short days, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will be able to explore the free agent market. Now, according to the Star Tribune (h/t Justin Hier of The Phinsider) the Miami Dolphins are interested in Bridgewater. This is an interesting possible situation and one that would likely see Bridgewater playing in a backup role. The Dolphins have committed to Ryan Tannehill as their starter in 2018. Though, coming off of two ACL injuries, Tannehill’s longevity as a starter is definitely not guaranteed. Bridgewater would be an improvement over current backup, Matt Moore. But he too carries a huge injury-risk label into free agency.
