Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase hasn’t quite given up on his team’s long-shot playoff hopes. Gase was asked Wednesday whether Miami could take momentum into the offseason by finishing strong in the final two games at Kansas City (Sunday) and against Buffalo (Dec. 31). “We’re still in this season,” Gase said. “This thing’s not quite over yet.” Miami (6-8) would need quite a few things to happen to work its way into a tie for the second AFC wild-card playoff berth. Most likely, the only way Miami could get into the playoffs would be a crazy multi-team scenario.
