The Los Angeles Dodgers made Trevor Bauer the highest-paid pitcher in Major League Baseball when they signed him to a three-year, $102 million contract before the 2021 season. They now might be regretting that decision with the former Cy Young winner facing sexual assault allegations.

A California woman claims Bauer choked her until she lost consciousness on multiple occasions, punched her in several areas and left her with injuries that required hospitalization following two sexual encounters earlier this year.

However, the issues don't stop there.

Earlier this week, The Washington Post reported that Bauer was issued a temporary order of protection last year after he allegedly physically abused an Ohio woman and made a death threat toward her.
