The Devils signed forward prospects Fabian Zetterlund and Mikhail Maltsev to entry level contracts on Monday. Both are three-year deals and will begin in the 2019-20 season.

Both prospects have played overseas after the Devils drafted them.

Zetterlund, a right wing, was a third-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft, going 63rd overall. He was the third player taken by the Devils in that draft behind Nico Hischier first overall and Jesper Boqvist 36th overall.

The Swedish forward played the past two seasons with Farjestads BK Karlstad in Sweden’s pro league. He finished with two goals and two assists in 16 games in 2018-19, and he also played in five games with Sweden at the World Junior Championships.
